Our Beliefs
We believe that the benefits of health should be accessible. This means that neither age, nor ability, location, or even economic circumstance should prevent anyone from finding balance. Therefore we employ minimal staff in virtual & co-located settings so our classes accommodate YOU. The global community as well as our environment matter greatly to Unity Movement & Mindfulness and our goal is to give back.
Methods of Practice
Movement
If you are ready to move your body then Unity Movement should be your go-to. Our instructors are experienced not only in teaching yoga poses but also in breathe-work, martial arts, Taylor Riley boxing fitness, and tai chi energetics. Whether you want to practice virtually, in-person, or try our options for private or special group; our style of movement will increase both your strength and flexibility targeting all ranges of motion of the body in the tradition of Unification.
When our schedules just don’t align we also have a library of recordings to access so you can make your practice all about YOU. Being flexible with accessibility also means we have options of movement via floor exercise and with chair and prop modifications. Our mantra is #movementismedicine

Anyone can give – from small words of encouragement during group class to participating in a team hike or walk. Our core belief is that collaboration benefits us all so if you have a passion that think may interest us please check out our section Yoga for Unity.

What People Say
Carolyn and Taylor are excellent meditation teachers. I had a lot of in-depth spiritual and science-based questions and they were able to explain them both in a clear and relatable manner. This greatly helped me understand and appreciate more behind the meditative experience.

I strongly recommend Unity Movement Mindfulness and Carolyn’s yoga classes. She is a wonderful teacher with lots of experience. I just did crow pose for the first time out of nowhere during her class when it’s never felt right before. You’ll have a great class here!

The yoga class I took at the Pineapple Chalet recently was fantastic. I enjoyed the flow of it and the perfect guidance into each pose and posture. I felt great afterward and would recommend this class to everyone🙏 Thanks so much and I can’t wait to come in for my next class

I met Taylor Riley at yoga and started taking his amazing online yoga classes and then joined Taylor Riley Boxing Unlimited. I’ve been doing his boxing classes online and sometimes in person for a couple of months now and I have already learned so much! I am a figure skater, so with boxing I am able to work different parts of the body and still strengthen muscles that I use all the time. He explains everything thoroughly and answers questions if we are confused or need to see something again. The online classes are great for me because I live at college which is about two hours away from Taylor. I also have a busy schedule, so it is nice to hop online without even leaving my room. When I am in town and able to join the in-person classes I am able to use the skills I learned online and practice live, which is a lot of fun and beneficial. Taylor is super chill and creates an awesome and safe environment where all of the students can feel relaxed, laugh, and have fun while still getting in a great workout. He also gets to know each of his students personally and even checks up on me from time to time to make sure I am well. He will teach you based on your needs and push you to do well but will never make anything too challenging to where you may get injured. Taylor has excellent knowledge of the body and focuses on engaging muscles properly, which is something I have never been taught before. The other day my abs were feeling sore (the good sore 😉 ) which is something I have not felt in years!
